A monarch butterfly watching the day unfold.
I was outdoors considering my next project, when a long lost friend momentarily landed on my hand and then proceeded to fly to a nearby branch. She then allowed me to take several close-up shots, periodically opening and closing her wings as if posing. This is the result of that encounter.
